Your mom sounds like mine. Luckily mine only lives 15 minutes away so when I am full and done grazing I just in my truck and drive home.

Would your mom adopt a son because any mom who makes pork belly I would love forever. Heck I may actually remember her birthday.

Love the flavors in the dish too.

Kevin

That looks really good and I could certainly go for that for breakfast!

Meagan Abraham

Beautiful post Marion, absolutely enjoyable reading. Extremely evocative writing.

Mmmmm, I thinks she's cooked that one for me once before. Breakfast at your mum's house was always a treat.

I 'll have to book my tickets to Adelaide and size you and your sticky rice up very soon.

So impressed HH. Your blog has become one of my little pleasures. What a nice way to procrastinate!

Hi Jeff - I can tell you right now that pork belly dishes do not a considerate daughter make...I have been known to forget my mother's birthday. But I will let her know, however, that she has a potential adoptee son out there if she ever feels the need :-)

Hi Kevin - it'll certainly set you up for the day.

Hi Meagan - thanks darling. Can't wait to see you down my way again soon.

Hey Poohead (you know who you are) - if you don't come soon I'm going to stop inviting you.
